A series of works I exhibited throughout the Amazonia region in Peru whilst attending the residency Sachaqa Centro de Arte.
‘I lay on a rock and the sun enters me. Through this union of my organs and the present, the only thing left to do is to dissolve. Cells divide, and from the highest peak, the human heart - as ancient as the moon - forces the body to suck through to its development and breath into evolution. The heart ripples through the cosmos and overwhelms the shadow; so here I sit on the rock and drift. Wisdom is not far. On mud paper and stone floors, the faces of mutation come through the vines of my dreams. Never awake, never asleep. The spirit theatre of truth dances and fragments into pieces. Colours and forms represent the nature of my life sense. A gentle breeze splatters in, touching the tip of the brush and from this vision, I paint.'
